Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
Proper handling protocols to avoid thread g प्राथमिक scoring, leakages, and hydraulic pressure lock.
O-Ring Lubrication
Inspect EPDM O-rings for cuts or deformation. Lightly coat with food-grade silicone lubricant before seating in groove. Never use petroleum jelly which causes polymer degradation.
Thread Sealing & Hand-Torque
Use PTFE thread sealant tape on NPT ports (3-4 wraps clockwise). Hand-tighten vessel bowls securely until snug, followed by a gentle 1/4-turn with spanner wrench. Avoid over-torquing.
Hydrostatic Check & Degas
Slowly open the feed valve to pressurize gradually. Depress the red pressure relief button on the cap until water emerges bubble-free to purge trapped air and prevent water hammer.
